Founder of Wound Squads
Dr. Rafael Rafols has been serving the Rio Grande Valley since 2006, delivering exceptional care and establishing himself as a leader in wound care. After completing his training in Family Medicine in 2009 and becoming board certified, Dr. Rafols worked as a Hospitalist Physician, where he recognized a critical need for specialized wound care in the community. In 2011, he founded Wound Management, DBA, and now with Wound Squad, his latest venture, he’s expanding the reach of mobile wound care, providing expert care directly to patients’ homes and through his three clinic locations in Mission, Rio Grande City, and Harlingen. As Wound Squad grows, Dr. Rafols is committed to bringing high-quality wound care to communities nationwide.
